Ultra-15 hydraulic fluid is the result of many years of development by HyDrive and a major oil company. Almost all hydraulic oils on the commercial market are designed for use with high-speed piston and gear pumps which have considerably more operating clearances than manual hydraulic steering helms which rotate very slowly and must produce high pressure.
Ultra-15 provides up to 25% more pressure compared with industrial hydraulic oils when using the same input pressure on the steering wheel. This means less effort, less wear and of course a longer life for your steering.
